Socially Edicational work

Extracurricular educational work at the Department of Foreign Languages is an important component of the academic process. It is aimed at the comprehensive development of students’ personalities, the formation of professional and communicative competencies, and the enhancement of intercultural awareness.

The Department actively organizes and conducts various events that foster students’ creative potential. These include thematic weeks of foreign languages, public speaking contests, academic competitions, quizzes, debates, round tables, and research-to-practice conferences. Special attention is paid to developing public speaking skills, critical thinking, and the ability to engage in intercultural dialogue.

Cultural and educational events dedicated to the history, literature, and traditions of the countries whose languages are studied have become a long-standing tradition. Students take part in celebrating international dates, national culture festivals, literary evenings, and theatrical performances in foreign languages. Such activities promote tolerance, respect for cultural diversity, and broaden students’ horizons.

Systematic extracurricular educational work contributes to the creation of a supportive learning environment, the strengthening of corporate culture, and the development of students’ active civic position. The Department of Foreign Languages strives to ensure that every student can reveal their abilities, realize their creative potential, and prepare for successful professional activity in a globalized world.
