Forum on Economic Security: “Strategies for Countering Threats to the Economic Security of Russia”

Participation in the China–SCO Forum on Digital Technologies
Aiperi Baktybekova, Lecturer at the Department of Economic Security and Marketing of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU), participated in the China–SCO Forum on Digital Technology Cooperation and Development, held from June 17 to 19, 2025, in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People’s Republic of China.
The Forum was organized within the framework of the SCO Year of Sustainable Development 2025, during China’s chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The event was hosted by the Xinjiang Sub-Center of the China–SCO Big Data Cooperation Center, which serves as an international platform for cooperation among SCO member states in the fields of digital technologies, innovation, research, and industrial collaboration.
The Forum was held under the theme
“Digital Transformation as a Driver of Sustainable Development, Digital Inclusion as the Foundation of Shared Prosperity of the SCO.”
It served as a multi-level platform for experience exchange, strengthening technological cooperation, and discussing joint initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable growth of the digital economy in SCO member countries.
During the Forum, participants addressed key issues related to digital transformation, digital inclusiveness, and the application of advanced analytical and digital technologies to support sustainable economic development.
Participation in this international forum contributed to strengthening KSTU’s academic and research cooperation, expanding international partnerships of the Department of Economic Security and Marketing, and promoting the integration of modern digital approaches into the university’s educational and research activities.
The international activity of the department "Economic security and marketing" is carried out in the following areas: participation in international educational organizations, programs, foundations, associations; foreign internships of teachers and students of the department; cooperation with foreign educational institutions; international publications of teachers and students; involvement of foreign specialists in the educational process of KSTU. I. Razzakov; other events.
At the initiative of the Department of I.Razzakov KSTU, he is a member of the international branch Institute for Combating Money laundering and terrorist financing.
The department actively conducts seminars of methodological and practical orientation, invites foreign professors from near and far abroad.
Students of the department under the guidance of the head of the department Under the guidance of M.O. Omurbekova have been participating in the International Olympiad on Financial Security for two years in a row (Russia, Sochi).).
Today, the department has accumulated experience in teaching foreign students. The geography of international relations is expanding. Currently, foreign students from Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation study at our department in full-time and part-time departments.
Close cooperation of the department with colleagues from foreign and domestic universities has been established: joint publications; mutual internships of teachers; open lectures by foreign specialists in the disciplines of the department.
