Guest Lecture on Financial Literacy Held as Part of Global Money Week 2026

As part of the international initiative Global Money Week 2026, Amanat Credit organized a guest lecture for students aimed at improving financial literacy among young people.

The event took place on April 2, 2026, and became part of a global educational campaign supported by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main objective of the lecture was to equip students with practical knowledge and skills in personal finance management, budgeting, and responsible financial decision-making.

The lecture was delivered by a certified master trainer in financial literacy, who shared valuable insights on modern financial tools, saving strategies, responsible borrowing, and ways to avoid financial risks. The session was interactive and included real-life examples, making the material both engaging and easy to understand.

An additional highlight of the event was a student competition for the best social media post on the topic “Financial Literacy.” Participants were encouraged to share their ideas, knowledge, and personal experiences. The winners received corporate merchandise from the company, which further increased student engagement and interest.

The initiative was led by Daniyar Baitoroev, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Microfinance Organizations of Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized the importance of promoting financial literacy among youth, noting that it plays a key role in shaping the country’s future financial culture.

Such educational initiatives contribute to raising awareness, strengthening financial responsibility, and building trust in financial institutions.

Ceremonial Event Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Sooronbai Zhusuev

The Department of Economic Security and Marketing (EBM) of the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University held an event at the end of December dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great poet Sooronbai Zhusuev, in accordance with its state language development plan.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Language Center. The program included a video presentation about S. Zhusuev’s creative work, artistic recitation of his poems, and a contest for performing songs based on his works.

Following the results of the contest, the students of the EBM Department demonstrated a high level of preparation and achieved the following results:

  • Song Performance – 1st place: Tologonov Temirlan, group EB(s)-1-22
  • Artistic Recitation – 2nd place: Tologonov Temirlan, group EB(s)-1-22
  • Video Presentation – 3rd place: group M(b)-1-24

This event not only honored the legacy of the poet but also made a significant contribution to fostering interest among young people in the Kyrgyz language and literature.

Students of the Department of Economic Security and Marketing Won First Place in the Case Championship of Bakai Bank

On December 5, the final stage of cooperation with Bakai Bank took place, during which a case championship was held among the students of I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University. The bank provided four practice-oriented cases in the following areas: two in Information Systems and Technology, one in HR Management, and one in Marketing.

The following teams were formed to participate:

  • Department of Economic Security and Marketing (ESM) – 1 team,
  • Department of Management – 1 team,
  • Department of Information Systems in Economics (ISE) – 2 teams.

The teams worked on solving real business tasks provided by Bakai Bank and presented their results to a panel of expert judges from the bank.

Based on the results, the team of the Department of Economic Security and Marketing won first place, demonstrating strong preparation, creativity, and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real business situations. The experts highlighted the students’ in-depth analysis, innovative approach, and professionalism.

The Head of the ESM Department, M.O. Omurbekova, emphasized that such events contribute to developing students’ competencies, increasing their competitiveness, and building direct connections with employers.

The department expresses its gratitude to Bakai Bank for this valuable opportunity and to the students for their initiative, responsibility, and commitment to professional growth.

The forum was attended by the Head of the Department of Economic Security and Marketing of the Razakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor.

KSTU Students Became Prize Winners at the International Financial Security Olympiad

From September 29 to October 3, 2025, the 5th International Olympiad on Financial Security was held in Krasnoyarsk (Russian Federation). The competition brought together 480 students from 40 countries around the world.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by three students from the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU), who competed in two categories — Economic Security and Information Security.

As a result of the Olympiad, KSTU students achieved outstanding success:

  • Alisa Semenova won the 2nd place in the Economic Security category;
  • Dmitry Koshevoy took the 2nd place in the Information Security category.

The team was led by Marina Olegovna Omurbekova, Head of the Department of Economic Security and Marketing at KSTU.

The achievements of KSTU students have made a significant contribution to strengthening the university’s international reputation and demonstrate the high level of training of specialists in the fields of economic and information security.
