History of the department
The Department of Economic Security and Marketing was established in 2019 as part of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. Head of the Department - Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Omurbekova M.O.
The department trains specialists in the areas of 581000 "Marketing" under the bachelor's degree program (full-time and part-time education), 580100 "Economics" under the bachelor's degree program (full-time and part-time education), "Economic security" - specialty (full-time education) and a joint educational program with BSTU "Voenmeh" (RF, St. Petersburg).
The Department cooperates on a contractual basis with the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, commercial banks, enterprises and organizations.
The department trains highly erudite economists and marketers for enterprises of various organizational and legal forms of ownership, financial structures (banks, investment funds, stock exchanges, audit and consulting firms), as well as tax inspectors and financial workers for government bodies of various levels. Graduates of the department successfully work in government and commercial structures, open their own business, implement joint projects.
Teachers of the department undergo retraining and advanced training in the field of financial, investment and innovation management, strategic management, business evaluation, modern forms of lending, securities market, restructuring, international financial reporting standards, information technology in economics and finance, consumer and industrial marketing, as well as other areas of the department.
Every year, students of the department take part in scientific conferences, round tables, the Republican Marketing Olympiad, the International Financial Security Olympiad held by the International Network Institute in the Field of Countering Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (ISI) in the Russian Federation, and other events.
The department has a creative and friendly team, which, thanks to its constant willingness to cooperate, openness, goodwill, real help to everyone, enjoys the well-deserved respect of colleagues, students, postgraduates, graduates.
