Higher School of Economics and Business Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. I. Razzakova

The History of development of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) of Razzakov KSTU is based on the development of the Institute of “Economics and Management” (KSUCTA named after N. Isanov) and “Engineering and Economic” Faculty (KSTU named after I. Razzakov). These two departments originate from the stage of training of engineers-economists in the field of industry and construction since 1968 in Frunze Polytechnic Institute (FPI).

The Faculty of Engineering and Economics was the successor of the Institute of Management and Business, which was established in 1996 on the basis of the Faculty of “Business and Management”. The Institute of “Management and Business” was headed by Mr. Kylych Orozbayev Kylych Orozbayevich, Candidate of Economic sciences, Professor of KSTU. In 2016, in connection with the profiling of the university, the Institute of “Management and Business” was renamed into “Engineering and Economic” faculty, the dean was elected Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Abdumatov Kubanychbek Abdumatovich.

In 1992, after the establishment of the Kyrgyz Architectural and Construction Institute through separation from the FPI on the basis of the order of the National Entrepreneurship Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, in order to train highly qualified economic personnel, on the basis of the Department of “Economics and Construction Management” was organized Commercial Faculty, which was later renamedFaculty of Economics and Management” (FEM). The dean of the faculty was appointed Candidate of Economic sciences, Associate Professor, Academician of IANPO Narynbaev Turdubek Kasymovich, from 2014-2017 the dean of FEM was Dr. Elmira Dupenovna Derbisheva, acting professor.

August 30, 2017, in connection with the abolition of the “Institute of Construction, Economics and Management” (ICEM), on the basis of the “Faculty of Economics and Management” (FEM) was formed “Kyrgyz-Chinese International Institute of Economics and Management” (KCIEM). Zeynegul Kubatbekovna Samaybekova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor was appointed as the Director of the Institute. On August 30, 2018, the Kyrgyz-Chinese Institute of Economics and Management was renamed into the Institute of Economics and Management (IEM).
     Thus, the formation and development of these two faculties took place in the period from 1992 to 2021.
     The Higher School of Economics and Business was established by the order of the Rector of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov on September 1, 2022 as a result of reorganization of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov by joining it on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture named after N. Isanov, Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Development of Natural Resources named after Academician U. Asanaliev.
     Cholpon Kachkynbekovna Sydykova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor was appointed as the Director of the Higher School of Economics and Business.
     Higher School of Economics and Business includes 6 graduate departments, which have extensive experience in training in-demand specialists in the field of economics, accounting, management, finance, marketing, economic security, logistics, modern information technology, standardization certification and metrology.
