Higher School of Economics and Business Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. I. Razzakova

     The history of the development of the Higher School of Economics and Business of KSTU named after I. Razzakov (HSEB) is based on the development of the Institute of "Economics and Management" (KSTU named after N. Isanov) and the "Engineering and Economics" Department (KSTU named after I. Razzakov). These two units originate from the stage of training of engineers-economists in the field of industry and construction since 1968 at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute (FPI).

     The Faculty of Engineering and Economics was the successor to the Institute of Management and Business, which was established in 1996 on the basis of the Faculty of Business and Management. The Institute of "Management and Business" was headed by the candidate of economic sciences, professor KSTU Orozbaev Kylych Orozbaevich. In 2016, in connection with the profile of the university, the Institute of "Management and Business" was renamed to "Engineering and Economics" Faculty Dean was elected Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Kubanychbek Abdumatovich Abdumatovich Abdumatov.

     In 1992 after the foundation of Kyrgyz Architectural and Construction Institute by separation from FPI on the basis of order of the National Entrepreneurship Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, in order to prepare qualified economic personnel, on the basis of the department of "Economics and Construction Management" was organized Commercial Faculty, which was later renamed to "Faculty of Economics and Management" (FEM). The Dean of the Faculty was appointed Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Academician of IANPO T.K. Narynbaev, from 2014-2017 the Dean of FEM was Doctor of Economic Sciences, Acting Professor Elmira Dupenovna.

     On August 30, 2017, in connection with the abolition of the "Institute of Construction, Economics and Management" (ICEM), the "Kyrgyz-Chinese International Institute of Economics and Management" (KCIEM) was established on the basis of the "Faculty of Economics and Management" (FEM). Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Zeinegul Kubatbekovna Samaybekova was appointed Director of the Institute. On August 30, 2018, the Kyrgyz-Chinese Institute of Economics and Management was renamed the Institute of Economics and Management (IEM).

     Thus, the formation and development of these two faculties took place from 1992 to 2021.

     Higher School of Economics and Business was created by order of the Rector of KSTU named after I.Razzakov on September 1, 2022 as a result of the reorganization of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov through the accession of the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture named after N.Isanov, the Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources Development of Academician U.Asanaliev to it on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

     Cholpon Kachkynbekovna Sydykova, Associate professor, was appointed director of the Higher School of Economics and Business.

     The WSEB consists of 6 graduate departments with extensive experience in training in-demand specialists in economics, accounting, management, finance, marketing, economic security, logistics, modern information technology, standardization certification and metrology.
