About the Project

KSTU named after I. Razzakov is participating in the implementation of the international Erasmus+ project "Cyber4CA." The project aims to develop master's programmes in cybersecurity at universities across Central Asia, establish CyberLabs and regional training centers. Special emphasis is placed on sharing experiences and best practices between EU universities and partners from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan in the field of digital transformation.

Main Goals

  • Development and implementation of master's programmes in Cyber Security at 7 Central Asian partner universities
  • Establishment of 7 CyberLabs — one at each partner university
  • Opening of 3 regional Cyber Security Training Centers in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan
  • Development of 72 ECTS of cybersecurity-related courses
  • Strengthening collaboration between universities, industry, and government institutions

Expected Results

  • ECTS-accredited master's programmes in Cyber Security implemented at 7 partner universities
  • Approximately 3,500 students trained using new curricula and laboratory infrastructure
  • At least 25 academic staff members trained
  • Comprehensive learning materials developed for graduate, professional, and continuing education
  • A methodology for university–industry collaboration in Cyber Security developed
