The following disciplines are assigned to the department:
* Physics I
* Physics II
* Physics
* Concepts of modern natural science.
The training is conducted in full-time and distant forms of education.
Methodical work at the department is an integral part of the educational process and aims to improve the methodology, increase the efficiency, quality of all types of training sessions, improve the professional level and pedagogical skills of the teaching staff and scientific staff, organization and provision of the educational process.
In all disciplines assigned to the department, work programs have been developed and introduced into the educational process, syllabuses for students studying credit technology, methodological guidelines for laboratory work, collections of tasks for practical classes, materials of the rating system. Curricula and programs of academic disciplines are periodically discussed at scientific and methodological seminars of the department. The teachers of the department have developed educational and methodological complexes in all disciplines. Over the past 10 years, more than 15 textbooks have been published under the stamp of the Ministry of Defense and the National Academy of Sciences.
