Scientific conference "Science Week-2025"

As part of the "Science Week 2025" on November 12, an event was held with students and masters of the Department of Structural Mechanics and Hydrotechnical Structures in the following areas: 750500 "Construction" - profile: "Hydraulic Engineering"; and 760100 "Environmental Management and Water Management" - profile: "Water Resources and Water Management". Interesting scientific reports were presented, touching on modern technologies for monitoring and diagnosing water resources and the state of hydraulic structures in the Kyrgyz Republic.

RESEARCH REPORT

The 67th International Network Scientific and Technical Conference on "Science, Technology and Engineering Education in the Era of Digitalization and Globalization"

From March 27 to 28, the 67th International Network Scientific and Technical Conference (ISNTC) for young scientists, postgraduates, master's students, and undergraduates was held at the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University. The conference was titled "Science, Technology, and Engineering Education in the Era of Digitalization and Globalization. The scientific reports presented were so interesting that there were many questions, discussions, and debates. The outstanding students were awarded first and second-degree diplomas: Kamila Ongorbava, a student in the GTS(b)-1-22 group, and Erkinbek kyzy Begimai, a student in the WR(b)-1-22 group.

Participation of the WRB1-24 research group

On March 19, an open lesson on "Water Resources and the Global Water Balance" was held as a competition. Lesson Objective: To illustrate how rivers shape the surrounding landscape and provide water for agriculture, an important source of electricity, and a resource for the population.

Lesson progress: - The lesson used the “Game technique” method, where group VR1-24 was divided into two teams, and each team presented its own model.

Participation of Group WR-1-25 in the Open Lesson Competition.

On March 19, within the framework of the discipline “Water Resources and the Global Water Balance,” an open lesson was conducted in the form of a competition with the participation of students from group WR-1-25.

Purpose of the lesson:
To visually demonstrate the role of glaciers in the formation of water resources, the importance of irrigation in agriculture, as well as the impact of water resources on people’s lives and economic development.

Lesson process:
During the lesson, the “Game Technique” methodology was used. The students of group VR-1-25 were divided into two teams, each of which presented its own thematic model. The first team demonstrated a model of an irrigation system, explaining the importance of irrigation for agriculture and the rational use of water resources. The second team presented a glacier model, showing their role as a major source of fresh water and an essential component of the global water balance.

The open lesson was held in an active and creative atmosphere, contributing to the development of professional skills, teamwork, and students’ interest in water resources and their conservation.
