Scientific and Technical Council of the I. Razzakov KSTU

The Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is the key expert and analytical body that coordinates all research and innovation activities of the University. The Council brings together leading scientists, department heads, and experts to develop KSTU's scientific development strategy and evaluate the quality of ongoing research.

Key areas of STC activity:

  • Strategic Planning: Defining priority areas for the University's scientific research in accordance with state programs for science and technology development.
  • Expert Evaluation: Reviewing and approving research and development (R&D) plans, as well as monitoring their results.
  • Support for Young Scientists: Supervising postgraduate and doctoral (PhD) studies, assisting in the publication of articles in high-impact journals, and dissertation preparation.
  • Innovation Implementation: Assessing the applied significance of developments and promoting their integration into the real sector of the economy and industry.
  • Development of Scientific Infrastructure: Addressing issues regarding the material and technical equipment of the University's laboratories and centers.

The Council's Role in University Life

The STC serves as a link between science and education. The Council's decisions enable the integration of the latest scientific achievements directly into the educational process, ensuring that KSTU students have access to the most modern technologies and knowledge.

In 2026, the STC focuses particularly on supporting interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of engineering, IT, and ecology, as well as strengthening ties with international scientific foundations and partners.
