Visit of a delegation from the Kent State University The visit of a delegation from Kent State University (USA) to the department of "KHPI" of the Institute of Architecture and Design took place with a screening of the Graduation creative collections of 2024-2025. Presentation and demonstration of student papers, acquaintance with students and teaching staff.
The purpose of the visit: To develop international cooperation between the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov and Kent State University (USA) in the field of education, science and academic mobility.

The meeting ended with the deepest interest of both sides, representatives of Kent State University (USA) and the Department of “KHPI" of the I.Razzakov KSTU.The American delegation noted the high level of creative work of the students of the KAF KhPI, especially noted the great potential of creative collections of clothing models, the development of their further promotion on the platform of bilateral cooperation in this area. Possible joint projects were discussed in advance.
**Participation in the First International Conference of Intelligent and Eco-friendly Textiles, September 26-28, Urumqi, 2025 ** From September 26 to 28, 2025, teachers of the Fashion Department Joldoshova A B and Moldosanova N D participated in the First International Conference of Intelligent and eco-friendly Textiles, held at the Institute of Textiles and Clothing of Shinjiang University in Urumqi. The conference brought together experts and scientists from the global textile and clothing industry to exchange views and discuss cutting-edge developments in the fields of environmentally friendly manufacturing, design and intelligent technologies. During the visit, the colleagues got acquainted with the educational process on fashion design and visited clothing and textile manufacturing enterprises.

Faculty members of the Artistic Design Department, senior lecturer Zarina Davletovna Egemberdieva and teacher Ainura Bolotbekovna Tashmambetova from KSTU named after I. Razzakov, completed a 10-day advanced training course in Chinese language proficiency at Xinjiang University, China, Urumqi, from July 7 to July 18, 2025.To strengthen academic mobility and develop joint art projects with this university and a university located further away from Xinjiang University, the faculty presented the creative activities and interests of the KhPI department and exchanged gifts and contacts.Collaboration between universities will facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of education, enhance the potential of research activities at universities, and improve the quality of education for students in the department. The delegation included 12 faculty members from BSU and two faculty members from the KhPI department
On September 12, 2025, an exhibition of art and design works by Burul Mambetova, an artist, designer, fashion designer, and associate professor at KSTU, was held in the foyer of the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.The event was held under the auspices of the 5th International Women's Business Forum.The exhibition was opened by KSTU's Vice-Rector for International Affairs, who emphasized the importance of creative initiatives and the university's contribution to developing the cultural and academic potential of its students.xhibition visitors were able to see Burul Mambetova's unique works, appreciate the blend of tradition and contemporary design, and participate in master classes where the artist demonstrated felt techniques and shared the secrets of creating her signature pieces.At the end of the event, Zamira Akbagysheva presented awards to the partners of the Women's Congress, as well as letters of gratitude for their support and assistance in organizing the forum.
