The international cooperation

EXTERNAL RELATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Higher Mathematics actively cooperates with universities, scientific institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The leadership of the department and the teaching staff are looking for new directions and forms of international cooperation: opposition to candidate dissertations, reviewing textbooks, manuals, scientific articles, assistance in providing feedback on abstracts of candidate and doctoral dissertations, reviewing master's theses.

The department cooperates with the following research institutes and universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and other states:

1. Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic;

2. Institute of Geomechanics and Subsoil Development of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic;

3. Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic;

4. KazNTU named after. K. Satpaeva, Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Cooperation with schools and Olympiads

The department actively cooperates with schools: On March 13-14, 2025, the Education Department of the Bishkek City Hall, with the support of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, held a training seminar for students of the third stage of the school on natural science knowledge (chemistry, mathematics, physics) on a new basis.

To organize the Olympiad, a commission was formed consisting of: the chairman of the commission - candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor Osmonkanov A.M., members of the commission - candidate of physical and mathematical sciences,Associate Professor Kasymalieva A.A., Senior Lecturer Toktogulova A.Sh., Senior Lecturer Toktogulova A.Sh., Senior Lecturer T.S. and school mathematics teachers Zhumagaziev M. and Zhumalieva Zh.M.

The main goal of the Olympiad was to identify and support talented schoolchildren, increase their interest in mathematics and stimulate scientific research in the field of mathematics among young people. The Olympiad was held over two days: one day was devoted to theoretical tasks, the second to practical ones.

Theoretical stage: Schoolchildren were offered tasks containing questions on the theory of mathematics. These tasks require not only knowledge of basic concepts, but also the ability to analyze, solve problems and apply the acquired knowledge in non-standard situations. The questions varied from basic to complex, which allowed each participant to determine their level of knowledge.

Practical stage: During the practical stage, schoolchildren solved problems in the department's classrooms. The Olympiad tasks included various mathematical problems. The tasks were aimed at testing knowledge, the ability to work with mathematical methods of solving problems, as well as developing analytical thinking and setting non-standard problems in mathematics.All work was carried out under the supervision of the department's teachers.

The activities of the Department of Higher Mathematics within the framework of the "School-University" program. The Department of Higher Mathematics is actively developing partnerships with sponsored schools of KSTU named after I. Razzakov and the Manas boarding school in Talas. The following areas are being implemented within the framework of cooperation:

• Support for methodological projects of school teachers Based on scientific and methodological projects of school teachers, work is underway to develop methodological recommendations within the framework of the School-University Program. Consultations of the department contribute to the formation of a scientific style of thinking and research skills in teachers.Under the guidance of Associate Professor A.U. Urdinov, a course on methods of teaching mathematics was conducted for teachers of schools sponsored by KSTU.

• Preparing schoolchildren for Olympiads The department carries out preparations for holding Olympiads in mathematics among students of schools sponsored by KSTU named after I. Razzakov.

• Organization of laboratory seminars and excursions. Off-site classes and excursions to the university’s scientific laboratories are held, which allows students to become familiar with the university’s modern equipment and methods.

On April 21-26, 2025, at the Department of Higher Mathematics, under the guidance of senior lecturer T.M. Kozhokmatov, practical classes were held for students of the Manas boarding school in Talas on the sections "Logarithms" and "Trigonometric equations".
