International cooperation


INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION The Department has a close relationship with leading foreign universities: the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences (Germany), the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technology, Mechanics and Optics, the Moscow National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and the Moscow National Research University "MIET". Within the framework of the programs of the Kyrgyz-Russian Consortium of Technical Universities and the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, our graduates are annually sent to master's degree programs of Russian universities in information security. According to a Russian grant, 11 graduates of the department have completed a master's degree at the National Research University of Information Technology, Mechanics and Optics. In 2006-2018, the faculty of the OBIS Department actively participated in the implementation of international projects as part of the Kyrgyz-German Faculty (since 2016, the Institute) of Applied Informatics, established in 2004 according to an agreement between KGUST and the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences (Germany). From 2006 to 2018, he was the dean (hereinafter Director) A.A. Abdulaev. Since 2008, the OBIS Department, together with Professor G. Bayer of the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences, has implemented a joint bachelor's degree program in Computer Science as a graduate department, introducing European credit technology training at KGUSTA. The implemented projects were funded by: the foundation of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) "Implementation of the Bachelor of Computer Science curriculum of the West Saxon University of Zwickau at KGFI INIT KGUSTA", "Practice-oriented partnerships between universities and enterprises in Germany and developing countries" and the German Tengelman Foundation "Construction of an effective IT infrastructure for the application of and training at the KGUST Institute." The coordinator of these projects was Borubaev M.Ch., and the responsible executor was Zamirbekov K.Z. During the implementation of the ERASMUS+ project "Development of higher education in the field of biomedical engineering and management in healthcare in Kyrgyzstan" (KyrMedu), an educational program and an individual work curriculum in the field of "Informatics in healthcare and biomedical engineering" with the profile "Biomedical Engineering" were developed. As a result of the implementation of the KyrMedu project, a biomedicine laboratory and a laboratory of medical equipment have been created. Teaching staff of the department within the framework of international project programs regularly completed internships in India, Germany, Romania, Croatia and Russia, improving their professional levels in various educational programs (Abdulaev A.A., Borubaev M.Ch., Zamirbekov K.Z., Ismailov I.R., Omorova N.A., Kadyrov A.R.).
