Much attention is paid to studying the experience of the teaching staff of foreign universities engaged in training specialists in the field of IT. Foreign experts, including Deu Gang Lee and Sang Soo Kim from South Korea, are invited to give lectures on special subjects and share experiences.
Within the framework of the classical educational program, the department began to give students additional opportunities for professional development — they can get new competencies for a specific employer.
Under the guidance of a volunteer from South Korea, Deu Gang Lee, the Internet of Things Programming circle is working. Under the guidance of Ph.D., Associate Professor Tsybov N.N., the circle "Innovative projects of students" is working.
Participants of the project "The best student of the CIS", students of the IST department Asanbayev Akosha and Abdimitalip uulu Bayastan, organized by the International Association of Students of the Commonwealth of Independent States (Kazakhstan, Nursultan), were awarded first degree diplomas, a special badge "Best Student" and included in the second issue of the book collection "The Best student of the CIS" in 2020.
The student team of the IST Department at the Bishkek American Center in Bayalinov Library actively participated in the competition of presentations of educational Hackathon projects "HackBishbek: Transformation in Education" and took second place. The student team of the IST department actively participates in the Competition of Innovative ideas among universities of Kyrgyzstan (Soft skills), conducted by the Agency for Quality Assurance in the field of education "EdNet", our team successfully passed three stages of the competition.
