Scientific research and academic activity of Ryspec Nurkalievich Usubmamatov
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ryspec Nurkalievich Usubmamatov is an outstanding scientist in the field of automation and mechanical engineering, who has made a significant contribution to the development of engineering science and education in Kyrgyzstan. He graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where he later defended his PhD thesis, and received his doctorate from the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. He headed the Department of Industrial Process Automation at the I. Razzakov KSTU and served as the rector of the University in 1992-1999.
He is the author of more than 150 scientific papers, including fundamental articles, reports and one monograph, as well as more than 35 patents and inventions in the field of mechanical engineering and automation (including parts feeders, hydraulic motors, stepper drives, upgraded tooth heads, etc.). His developments are applicable in industrial robotics, CNC systems and intelligent systems production management. A number of his inventions have been presented and awarded at international forums.: silver and bronze medals from ITEX (Malaysia), the Order of Dignity (WIAF, Korea), as well as national awards — the medal "For Valiant Labor" and the badge "Excellent Student of Public Education".
Professor Usubmamatov has actively worked in international research projects in Canada (University of Waterloo), USA (University of Kansas), Great Britain (University of Sunderland) and Malaysia (UPM, UniMap), where he conducted lecture courses and research within the framework of government grants. His research interests cover mechatronics, gear kinematics, automation theory, AI integration into engineering systems, metrology, and standardization. He has repeatedly represented Kyrgyzstan at international engineering congresses, made presentations at conferences more than 50 times, and supervised the scientific dissertations of young scientists.
