HISTORY OF AUTOMATIC CONTROL DEPARTMENT

The department << Automatic control >> was organized in 1961. During its existence, the department was headed by:

Since 1992, the department has been training specialists in the direction of T.02 - << Automation and Control >> (bachelor's degree) and engineers in the specialty T.02.301 - << Control and Automation in Technical Systems >>. Since 2000, the department switched to training in the specialization "Management and computer science in technical systems." In connection with changes in the issued specializations in 1988, the department was renamed to the department “Automatic control >>. Over the period of the department’s existence, more than 3,000 specialists have graduated, more than 20 people have prepared and successfully defended their candidate dissertations, 5 employees of the department have become doctors of sciences. Many graduates of the department head various enterprises and have held high government posts: Ph.D. Abdrisaev B. - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the USA:, Doctor of Technical Sciences Omorov R.O. Director of the State Agency for Intellectual Property of the Kyrgyz Republic, Omorov T.T. Vice President of NAS KR, Mamatbekov B.D. Deputy Director of the State Agency for Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, etc.

Bachelors in specialization, system engineers, masters in this specialty, having graduated from the university, have a wide range of knowledge and skills in the field of control systems, information transfer, process control systems, microprocessor technology, Internet technologies.
The department is equipped with a modern laboratory base, there is a computer class with a local network with Internet access.
The department employs more than 15 teachers, including one doctor of science and three candidates of science. In this specialty, graduates receive fundamental knowledge in control theory, computer science, and computers. Computers are used as the main tool of any management system (production system, financial, technical system). Graduates can work in any field: engineering, mining, banking, energy.
