Labor market analysis shows that the current demand for professional programmers in Kyrgyzstan is more than 50,000 people, according to the KARPO (Kyrgyz Software Developers Association).
The annual output of all universities in Kyrgyzstan that can meet this demand reaches 200 people.
There is an acute shortage of well-trained programmers not only in the Kyrgyz market, but also in other developed countries.
All graduates of the department work in IT departments as programmers and network administrators. Many hold key positions in the management of organizations both within Kyrgyzstan and abroad. The department also attracts its graduates working in companies to lead educational, production and pre-qualification practices and teach a number of special disciplines.
Sales managers and Call Center operators became the most popular specialists in the field of telecommunications and communication.
So, the number of vacancies for:
- sales managers accounted for 25.1% of the total number of requests from employers in September 2019.
- In the second place with a solid gap from the leader – account managers (15.5%).
- Demand for Call Center operators has reached 40% of the total vacancies.
- The number of requests from employers for installers and sales consultants was 12.6% and 13.2%, respectively.
- 5.6% of vacancies offered employment to technicians.
- The number of vacancies for technical support specialists was 20%.
- Completing the ranking of the most popular specialists in the field of telecommunications and communications are 1C programmers. They are in demand in 10.3% of vacancies.
