Analysis of the labor market shows that the demand for professional programmers currently in Kyrgyzstan is more than 50,000 people according to CARPO (Kyrgyz Association of Software Developers).
The annual output of all universities in Kyrgyzstan capable of meeting this demand reaches 200 people.
There is an acute shortage of well-trained programmers not only in the Kyrgyz market, but also in other developed countries.
All graduates of the department work on specialty in IT-departments as programmers, network administrators. Many occupy key positions in the management of organizations both within Kyrgyzstan and abroad. Also the department attracts its graduates working in companies to supervise educational, industrial and pre-qualification practices and teaching a number of special disciplines.
The most demanded specialists in the field of telecommunications and communications are sales managers and call-center operators.
So the number of job openings for:
- Sales Managers in September 2019 amounted to 25.1% of the total number of requests from employers.
- In second place with a solid gap from the leader are customer service managers (15.5%).
- Demand for Call Center Operators reached 40% of the aggregate job openings.
- The number of employers' requests for installers and sales consultants amounted to 12.6% and 13.2% respectively.
- 5.6% of vacancies offered employment to technicians.
- The number of vacancies for technical support specialists amounted to 20%.
- Closing the rating of the most demanded specialists in telecommunications and communications are 1C programmers. They are in demand in 10.3% of vacancies.
