Department’s Cooperation with Employers and Partners
The department closely cooperates with major construction and design organizations, financial and credit institutions, insurance companies, and other organizations. This collaboration promotes joint scientific research, implementation of research recommendations, and provides students with opportunities for scientific, industrial, and pre-qualification internships under the supervision of experienced mentors.
The department annually organizes round tables and guest lectures, inviting representatives from government and private organizations. These events aim to strengthen interaction in the training of highly qualified specialists and to implement the "Education-Science-Industry" system.
On March 12, 2020, the department, together with other IEM departments, held a round table on the topic "Modern Stakeholder Perspectives on Higher Education Training in Economics and Management".
On November 22, 2022, a round table "Current Issues of Innovative Economic Development in the Kyrgyz Republic" was held at KSTU, initiated by the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) to enhance collaboration between academia, the business sector, and international partner universities.
On November 15, 2023, HSEB KSTU organized a round table on "Digitalization as a Factor of Science and Business Development in Kyrgyzstan: Realities and Perspectives". The discussion aimed to create a platform for dialogue between educational institutions and stakeholders on digital transformation in education and business.
On April 18, 2024, at KSTU, a round table "Innovations in Accounting and Finance Professions in the Digitalization Era" brought together leading experts, representatives of government agencies, businesses, academia, and students to discuss digital transformation in the financial sector.
On February 27, 2025, KSTU hosted a large-scale event "Career and Practice Day", aimed at fostering interaction between students, graduates, and employers. The event took place in two stages:
The event provided students and graduates with employment and internship opportunities through direct interaction with employers from various industries. Government institutions, financial organizations, construction, and industrial companies, as well as private firms, participated. Some employers expressed interest in long-term collaboration with KSTU.
From the "FAA" department, the following employers took part:
State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
"Bakai Bank" OJSC.
"Elet-Capital" MFC JSC (Sokuluk branch).
"NSK" Insurance Company.
"Eco Complex" LLC.
During the event, "Bakai Bank" held a presentation and gave away branded gifts. BUA-1-21 students Toybolotova M. and Chonbagysheva N. won prizes in the Kahoot quiz.
The event was successful, strengthening connections between students and potential employers.
Guest Lectures with Employers
Guest lecture
On April 15, 2022, the department organized a guest lecture for IEM students on the topic "Formation of the State's Anti-Corruption Policy". The invited lecturer was T.Zh. Sayakbayev, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Head of the Department of Strategic Development and Risk Assessment of the State Financial Intelligence Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On April 11, 2023, the HSEB organized a guest lecture in collaboration with "EcoIslamicBank" JSC.
Representatives of "EcoIslamicBank" JSC delivered a lecture for economics students on the topic "Operations of Commercial Banks".
The lecture was conducted by Meerim Abdilhashimovna Inzhambilova, Head of the Sales Sector of the Marketing Department, and Abdulmadjid Akhmedgadzhievich Gadzhiev, Head of the Sharia Department.
The guest lecture was attended by HSEB Director, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Sadykova Ch.K., faculty members, and third-year HSEB students.
During the lecture, Meerim Abdilhashimovna covered the history, development, and key operations of commercial banks, using "EcoIslamicBank" JSC as an example. She emphasized the role of bank employees in the development of banks and the promotion of banking products and services.
In turn, Abdulmadjid Akhmedgadzhievich highlighted the features of Islamic finance, providing examples for each type of banking operation.
The lecture included an active discussion on banking activities, allowing students to better understand the process of banking operations and the necessity of implementing new technologies in the banking sector.
Active students were rewarded with gifts from "EcoIslamicBank" JSC.
Additionally, during the discussion, "EcoIslamicBank" JSC and HSEB reached agreements on further cooperation.
