Scientific research work

In the period from 2003 to 2023, the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation was engaged in research work on the treatment of natural wastewater. The list of R&D is given below:

1. 2003-2006 State budget research work "Improvement of environmentally sound methods of water treatment of small settlements of the Kyrgyz Republic"

2. 2006-2009 State budget - research - work "Development and research of a biofilter for wastewater treatment in the conditions of the Kyrgyz Republic".

3. 2012 OSCE project “Water quality definitions in Kyrgyzstan”, Bishkek.

4. 2012 OSCE project "On the preparation of the module and training manual "Green Economy"

5. 2014 Project: Status, problems and prospects (forecast) of the development of systems and facilities for water supply, sanitation and sanitation (cleaning) of the Issyk-Kul lake coast until 2035

6. 2014 Project: Water intake of the city of Naryn project "Reconstruction of the head water intake and water supply system of the city of Naryn 2 stage"

7. 2017 State budget research work on the topic "Study of the effectiveness of natural and waste water treatment technologies using local materials"

8. 2019-2021 State budget research work on the topic “Improving the technology for obtaining drinking water from surface sources of the Kyrgyz Republic”

The department has teaching and research laboratories equipped with equipment and instruments. On which, at the request of industrial, design, research organizations and international projects, a lot of work is being done. For the calculation of water supply and sanitation systems. Computer technologies have been introduced, computer classes are operating.

As a result of research, patents were obtained for the treatment of natural and waste water.

Department through the technopark of KSTU named after. I. Razzakova developed working projects for water supply and sanitation systems. Employees have certificates of the State Construction Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. For design, commissioning and development of the environmental protection section.

9. 2024–2026 The department is carrying out a state-funded research project on the topic:
“Development of Local Wastewater Treatment Facilities for Small Settlements of the Kyrgyz Republic.”

The department has educational and research laboratories equipped with modern equipment and instruments. At the request of industrial, design, and research organizations, as well as within international projects, extensive work is carried out on the calculation and design of water supply and wastewater disposal systems. Computer technologies have been implemented, and computer laboratories are in operation.

As a result of the research work, patents have been obtained for technologies related to the treatment of natural and wastewater.

Through the Technopark of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, the department has developed detailed design projects for water supply and wastewater systems. The staff hold certificates issued by the State Construction Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic for design, commissioning, and development of the environmental protection section.

The department, represented by its academic staff, also has various contracts and cooperation agreements with foreign higher education institutions, including:
