DEPARTMENT "BUILDING MECHANICS AND GTS"

The history of the formation of the department "Building Mechanics and GTS" is closely connected with the history of development of the departments "Theoretical Mechanics", "Strength of Materials", "Building Mechanics" and "Hydraulic Engineering".

At the time of the formation of the Kyrgyz Institute of Architecture and Construction (KACI), the above named departments were headed by “Theoretical Mechanics” - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Dildaev M.S.

“Strength of Materials” head of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Rudaev Ya.I., “Structural Mechanics” - Ph.D., Associate Professor Amankulov T.A.

In 1995, the Departments of "Theoretical Mechanics" and "Strength of Materials" were merged, forming the Department of "Strength of Materials and Theoretical Mechanics", head of Ph.D., prof. Rudaev Ya.I

In 1999 - 2000 Ph.D., associate professor Svidenko V.N. Since 2000, the department has been renamed was in charge “Theoretical and Applied Mechanics”, headed by Zh.M. Mambetkulov. In 2002, on the basis of this department, the specialty “Engineering systems of agricultural water supply, watering and sanitation” was opened.

In 2004-2005 the department was headed by Adigamov N.S

From 1993 to 1994 Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Duishenaliev Turat Bolotbekovich was in charge of the Department of Structural Mechanics

and 1994-2004. d.t.s., prof. Kutuev M.D.

The specialty "Hydraulic engineering construction" was opened in 1994 at the department "Reinforced concrete structures". In the 1994-95 academic year, the first entrants in the specialty "GTS" were accepted at the department of RCS. Over the years, Ph.D., Associate Professor Temikeev K.T. (1995 -2000, 2017-2018), Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Sobolin G.V. (2000 - 2003), candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Mastilenko P.P. (2003-2011), candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Akmatov A.K. (2012-2013) were in change.Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Zhdanov N.V., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Tusubekova N.A., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Pazylov Sh.T., Art. teacher Zhalalova M.Zh., senior lecturer Poltavskaya L.A., teacher Kydyraliev N.N., Art. teacher Glazunova L.P., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Saliev A.B., senior teacher Mekenbaev B.T., Ph.D., associate professor Ismailov M.I., prof. Svidenko V.N., Ph.D., associate professor Zhakypbekov A.B., teacher Boobekova A.K., teacher Mamatov Zh.Y., Ph.D., prof. Rakhimov K.R., Ph.D., Assoc. Dikambaev Sh.B worked in above-mentioned departments for different years.

The Department of "Mechanics" was organized in the 2005-2006 academic year on the basis of two related departments "Building Mechanics" and "Theoretical and Applied Mechanics", headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. Kutuev M.D.

Since September 2018, a candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Bayaliev A.Zh. has been elected to the position of head of the department. In 2021, the department of "Mechanics" was transformed into the department of "Mechanics and GTS" in connection with the association of the profiles "Water resources and water use" and "Hydrotechnical construction".

In 2021-2022 academic year in connection with the reorganization of KSTU named after I. Razzakov by joining to it KSUCTA N. Isanov Department of "Mechanics and GTC" was transformed into the department "Building Mechanics and GTC".

Currently, 13 teaching staff work at the Department of Construction Building Mechanics and GTS, including 55.6% of full-time and 45.4% of part-time workers. Of these, 2 Doctors of Technical Sciences, professors, 1 Ph.D., 5 Ph.D., associate professor, 1 acting. associate professor 2 senior lecturers and 3 lecturer. Graduated teachers make up 71% of the total number of teachers of the department. Educational and support staff: 1 - methodologist, 1 - head. laboratory with higher education.  The Department of "Construction Mechanics and GTS" is a structural subdivision of the Kyrgyz Engineering and Construction Institute named after. N. Isanov and carries out educational, educational, methodological, research, educational activities, is actively working to increase the prestige of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. I. Razzakov.

The mission of the department is to train highly educated, highly qualified specialists capable of meeting the needs of employers, involving them in research activities and performing research in the field of "Mechanics of a Deformable Solid Body", "Structural Mechanics" and "Hydraulic Engineering"   The main strategic goal of the department is to improve the quality of the educational process and scientific research while maintaining the high quality composition of the teaching staff.

Most of the teachers of the department are graduates of different years FPI-KACI-KSUCTA. The experience of scientific and pedagogical work of teachers of the department is from 14 to 34 years.
