Scientific activity


The main areas of scientific activity of the Department of Architecture are: "Trends in the development of modern architecture, urban planning and design, and problems of professional education in Kyrgyzstan" - a description of the dynamics and contradictory stages, identification of stage-cultural foundations, proposals for new types of buildings and structures, development of research methodology and design of Kyrgyz architecture.

- "Research into the evolution of urban development in Kyrgyzstan" - Study of the thousand-year history of the formation of various architectural and urban development concepts; comparative study of urban development programs, concepts, theories based on world and domestic practice.

- "Research on architecture and urban planning in Central Asian countries" - The historical stages and modern problems of the formation of architecture and urban planning in Central Asian countries are studied.

"Research of theoretical and design-methodological problems of modern architecture" - Study of the latest trends in modern architecture from 2000 to 2025, definitions of theoretical and methodo

- “Research on the problems of development of architectural education” - study of the problem of development of architectural education in Kyrgyzstan.logical principles of avant-garde architecture;

The teaching staff of the department conduct research work in selected areas, for example, from 2020 to the present, research has been conducted on architectural and urban planning issues of small towns in the Kyrgyz Republic; architectural planning, architectural urban planning and architectural landscape developments have been developed for the development of small towns.

The results were implemented in the educational process, in the final qualifying work, competitive design, the research results were tested in research exhibitions. The faculty of the department periodically participates in and organizes scientific seminars and conferences. The work carried out is regulated by a research report, a protocol of the commission by sections,.

As an incentive for teachers and students who participate in scientific work, if they have presented a report, they are awarded: certificates, diplomas, diplomas, as well as free publication in collections. The results of scientific research activities are published in scientific journals, collections, in Scopus journals, etc.
