Who does the department graduate from?

The department prepares bachelors and masters in the following areas: 520200 “Applied Mathematics and Informatics”, 580500 “Business Informatics”.

About the program “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science”. The goal of the program is to train specialists capable of solving problems of modern science and technology, relying on advanced achievements in the field of mathematics, physics and information technology. Students gain knowledge and skills in the development and use of mathematical methods and algorithms implemented in the form of software and information technology. We teach how to explore, interpret and optimize mathematical models to solve scientific and engineering problems using modern programming languages ​​and technologies.

About the program “Business Informatics” is an interdisciplinary direction that integrates disciplines such as computer science, economics, and management. The goal of the program is to train professionals in the development and use of information systems and technologies in business, with knowledge in the field of computer science, economics and management.

Who will I be

- the acquired knowledge and skills of our graduates will make it possible to easily develop problem models in any subject area, and easily navigate new software and hardware that are valued in the labor market.

Graduates of the Applied Mathematics and Computer Science program can work as research specialists in the field of mathematical modeling, software developers, analysts, consultants in the development and implementation of modern information technologies and systems.

Graduates of the Business Informatics program are engaged in organizational, managerial, project, analytical, consulting, research, and innovation activities in the field of development and implementation of modern information technologies and systems.

The department provides computer classes with Internet access. In which laboratory classes are conducted to study programming languages, multimedia systems, operating systems, and websites.

Perspective

The department cooperates with the Institute of Joint Educational Programs (ISEP at KSTU named after I. Razzakov). Upon completion of training at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, it is possible to obtain 2 diplomas: from the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU) and from the National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI).

FORM OF TRAINING

Training is conducted on a budgetary and contract basis. Duration of training is 4 years. Enrollment in budget and contract forms of education is carried out only based on the results of nationwide testing.
