Research work

Research work (R&D) is an activity aimed at obtaining new or deepening existing scientific knowledge and achievements in a particular field, and is an important component and a necessary condition for the training of qualified specialists. For example, to obtain a candidate's degree or a doctor of sciences, you need to independently perform your research work. The scientific community believes that in the conditions of the information society and the constant updating of knowledge, the ability to quickly navigate the flow of information, analyze, highlight what is necessary, conduct independent research and prove their effectiveness in practice is a very important and useful skill.

Scientific work at the Department of "Power Supply" is carried out jointly with graduate students, masters and young scientists under the guidance of experienced scientific supervisors. It has specific tasks:

to acquaint with modern scientific research methods and teach how to apply them in practice;
teach yourself to plan and organize research;
identify current scientific problems and find ways to solve them;
set specific goals, formulate hypotheses and prove them in practice;
conduct experimental research;
to formalize the results of the study in accordance with the requirements;
to prove the correctness of the results obtained and their usefulness to science, to defend their point of view in scientific discussions through public defense, participation in conferences, seminars, etc.
The main directions of research work of the department:

Improving the reliability of power supply systems
Analysis of the quality of electricity and development of measures to improve the indicators of the CEE.
Improving the efficiency of operation of electrical equipment of power supply systems and automation of consumers.
Energy-saving technologies in power supply systems
The following work is being carried out on the cathedral theme:

1. Improving the efficiency of operation of EO SES and automation of consumers – isp. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Assoc.Kurzhumbaeva R.B.

In 2018, the department developed new laboratory stands:

2. A new laboratory stand has been developed for the discipline: "Automation of power supply systems" with the performance of 6 laboratory works by the author – Ph.D., Assoc. Asiev A.T.

3. A new laboratory stand has been developed: "Research of the frequency converter of an asynchronous motor" with the performance of 2 laboratory works by the authors - Ph.D.Assoc. Asiev A.T., Head of the lab.Amanbayev I.

4. A new laboratory stand "Device for switching single–phase consumers" has been developed in the discipline: "Quality management of electricity" author - Candidate of Technical Sciences B.I. Sariev.

5. An experimental laboratory installation has been developed "Investigation of the influence of electricity quality indicators on electric power elements. networks" author – St.Rev. Abdieva Z.E.

The Department of Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic conducts the following works:

1. Development of technical devices for locating and searching for damage to power cables with a funding volume of 1.2 million SOM – isp. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Assoc.Tokhtamov S.S.

2. Development of calculation methods and recommendations for improving the reliability and stability of the operating modes of the Kyrgyz power system, taking into account the expected commissioning of capacities for the period up to 2020 with a funding volume of 1 million som - isp. Asanov A.K.

In 2018 , the candidate 's dissertations were defended: Kasmambetov H.T. and Sariev B.I.

Currently, 7 graduate students are studying at the department under the guidance of Ph.D., prof. Sukulova M.A. and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Ryrsalieva A.S.
