As part of international cooperation and the development of academic mobility, Mirlan Chynybayev, Rector of the Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, paid a working visit to the University of Camerino (Italy).

The purpose of the visit was to participate in the final meeting of the partners of the academic mobility program implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Union, as well as to discuss the preparation of a new project application and the expansion of the geography of participants to the "Central Asia + Italy" format.

During the visit, the Rector of KSTU held a number of productive meetings with the leadership and faculty of Camerino University.

In particular, negotiations were held with the rector, Prof. Graziano Leoni, coordinator of the joint project, Prof. Carlo Lucheroni, as well as other representatives of the administration and the academic community. The main topics of discussion were the prospects for expanding cooperation between the two universities, developing new joint initiatives and strengthening scientific and educational ties.

Within the framework of the new Erasmus+ application, special attention will be paid to the creation of joint educational programs, including double-degree studies, the organization of joint scientific guidance for PhD doctoral students and the development of interdisciplinary scientific schools.

It should be recalled that Razzakov KSTU and Camerino University signed a cooperation agreement in 2022. During this time, four KSTU undergraduates in the field of information technology were given the opportunity to study at Camerino University for one semester.

Within the framework of the new project, it is planned to expand the areas of academic exchange and cooperation, including such areas as food technology, architecture, applied mathematics, geology and management.

The visit was another step in strengthening international partnership and confirming KSTU's commitment to integration into the global educational space.
