History of the department. Rating of departments


Managers around the world have recognized logistics as a very important universal science, which allows to improve business processes and achieve prosperity. Therefore, logistics developed very quickly and rapidly. According to Deloitte & Touche, more than 90% of organizations are currently improving their supply chains and logistics. Companies that view logistics and supply chains as a strategic asset are 70% more efficient than their competitors. There is a growing interest in logistics as a new generation of technologies and steadily developing supply chains.

The “Logistics” chair was established at the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute in order to implement the cooperation agreement between KSTU named after I. Razakov and the Boyth Technical University (Berlin, Germany) "On the preparation of students in the direction of" Logistics "and based on the decision of the Academic Council of the Kazan State Technical University named after I. Razzakov on May 30, 2011.

The department prepares qualified and competitive bachelors since 2011 in the direction of 580600 "Logistics" in the profiles "Entrepreneurial Logistics" and "Transport Logistics", has the status of a graduating department. It also provides the opportunity to continue training in the areas of "Procurement logistics" and "Transport logistics" in the magistracy.

The head of the “Logistics” department is Doctor of Economics, Professor Umetaliev Akylbek Saparbekovich, an experienced and current top manager, a practicing consultant expert in the field of public procurement and procurement in World Bank projects.

To enhance the practical orientation of training at the department, there is a close relationship with leading enterprises, organizations, ministries of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The department regularly organizes meetings with business representatives, held in the format of a master class, guest lecture or a round table, and also organizes excursions to logistics facilities.

Graduates of the department have the opportunity to find themselves and work:

  • in logistics departments (departments, departments, offices) of state and commercial organizations and companies, all industries, construction, transport, education, science and innovation, culture, medicine and services;
  • in specialized logistics companies, consulting and research organizations, agencies of logistics communications;
