Department history
The Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics was established in 1954. In the year of foundation, 4 teachers worked at the department. In the organization and formation of the department, the heads of the department had significant merits: Chukubaev A.A., Akerman Z.M., candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Tarnopolsky I.R. other.
In 1970, the department developed and created the Ala-Too-5-R machine, designed to teach and control students' knowledge of graphic disciplines. She exhibited at world exhibitions and was awarded medals.
In 1970, the associate professor of the department Danikeev O.D. wrote and published the first textbook in the Kyrgyz language "Syzma Geometry".
In 1979, a specialized television audience was created, which was awarded a silver medal and diplomas at VDNKh of the USSR.
The department conducts training in the following disciplines: "Descriptive geometry and engineering graphics", "Engineering and computer graphics". The auditoriums are equipped with video installations, stands, layouts and posters. The department has 2 computer classes where students study AutoCAD and SolidWorks programs. All guidelines and teaching aids are written in Kyrgyz and Russian.
From 1980 to 1992 The department was headed by Ph.D., Associate Professor Kasyanov A.P. and candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Mambetaliev T.S.
From 1992 to 2020 head of the department Ph.D., prof. Dzhumakadyrov Sh.J.
Since 2020, the head of the department is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Arzybaev A.M.
