INcourse "Optimization methods in information systems" considers algorithms for solving optimization problems. The considered approaches to optimization are given with the aim of their potential implementation in software.

LO 1.Know methodological and computational foundations for constructing optimization models of technical systems, modern software development technologies (SW), the capabilities of modern programming languages and standard libraries for creating and using information support for optimization systems; classical and modern optimization methods.
LO 2.Be able toreasonably choose and use optimization methods in information systems; develop, substantiate and test effective optimization methods using modern computer technologies;
solve practical applied problems using appropriate optimization methods.
LO 3.Ownskills for independent use of the mathematical apparatus of optimization; skills for independent development of special scientific literature on optimization methods; modern optimization algorithms; skills of theoretical, research and practical activities in the field of optimization.
