KSTU Named After I. Razzakov Holds Meeting with Delegation from Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power
On September 21, 2026, I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power (ZJWEU, China), headed by Qian Tianguo, Secretary of the University Party Committee.
As part of the visit, the delegation met with the KSTU leadership to discuss further development of cooperation between the two universities, the implementation of joint educational projects, and expanding opportunities for students.
The meeting was held in the Small Conference Hall of KSTU. The Chinese delegation familiarized itself with the activities of the Luban Workshop and the progress of the joint project.
One of the key highlights of the event was the handover of laptops to the KSTU Higher School of Logistics for use in the educational process. The equipment was received by Akylbek Saparbekovich Umetaliev, Director of the Higher School of Logistics.
The meeting also outlined promising areas for further cooperation. In particular, the partners plan to establish a digital project platform for sharing educational materials, as well as courses on artificial intelligence and its applications in engineering.
In addition, the universities plan to establish two new laboratories focusing on artificial intelligence, clean energy, and the application of AI technologies in construction.
Particular attention during the visit was given to students. The delegation met with students of the Logistics educational program, for whom a professor from Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power delivered a guest lecture.
During the lecture, students learned about the experience of the Chinese university, current trends in logistics development, and opportunities for international academic cooperation. In an open dialogue, they had the opportunity to ask the professor questions and discuss professional topics.
The visit marked another important step in strengthening cooperation between I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University and Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power, while opening up new opportunities for the development of joint educational, scientific, and technical initiatives.
