Defender of the Fatherland Day Celebrated at Razzakov University
A solemn event dedicated to February 23 — Defender of the Fatherland Day — was held at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. The celebration brought together faculty members, staff, and students of the University.
The ceremony opened with the National Anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic. Rector Mirlan Koychubekovich Chynybaev delivered a congratulatory address, emphasizing that defending the Fatherland is not limited to military service, but also includes responsible professional work, civic engagement, and contributing to the country’s development. He extended his sincere congratulations to the men of the University, wishing them good health, success, and peaceful skies.
The festive program featured performances by the University’s creative groups. The folk dance ensembles “DEYA” and “USTA” presented national choreographic pieces, while the “Art-Muras” drama studio performed poetry and patriotic compositions dedicated to courage and service to the Motherland. Songs about Kyrgyzstan and love for the homeland were performed by Zhanara Erkinbek kyzy and Kymbat Malikova.
As part of the celebration, the University’s Trade Union Committee organized a festive lottery, and prizes were ceremonially awarded to the winners.
The event was held in an atmosphere of respect, unity, and patriotism, highlighting the strong traditions and values of the University community.
