Delegation of KSTU named after I. Razzakov is on a visit to the University of Miskolc

The delegation of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov is currently visiting the University of Miskolc (Hungary) at the invitation of the Director of the Faculty of Logistics Peter Tamas.

The delegation included the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Syrymbekova Erkingul Ibraevna, the Director of the International Higher School of Logistics Umetaliev Akylbek Saparbekovich and the Deputy Director of the International Higher School of Logistics Rifert Kristina Petrovna.

The purpose of the visit is to strengthen international cooperation within the framework of the Pannonia project. Representatives of KSTU have already visited high-tech laboratories designed to simulate logistics processes, and also studied the possibilities of using the German Eclipse SUmo program for modeling urban mobility.

A meeting was also held with the International Department of the University of Miskolc, where the delegation met with its Director Kristina Sandor, who spoke about the key areas of the university's work and opportunities for cooperation.

As part of the busy program of the visit, the delegation holds meetings with the deans of five faculties representing the areas of materials science, automation and infocommunications, engineering power engineering, chemical engineering, mining and geology. The meetings discuss the prospects of academic mobility, joint educational programs and research projects.

Today, a solemn event took place at the University of Miskolc - the Director of the MHSL Umetaliev Akylbek Saparbekovich was awarded the honorary title of Doctor of the University of Miskolc. This is a high recognition of his contribution to the development of international cooperation and scientific activity.

The delegation also met with the Rector of the University of Miskolc Zita Horvat, with whom they discussed further strengthening of the partnership between the universities. It is expected that agreements will be signed on expanding academic and scientific cooperation.

The visit of the KSTU delegation continues, and there are still a number of important meetings and discussions ahead aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the universities.
