On January 22, the first meeting with the CEO of one of the largest Russian coal companies, JSC SUEK Kuzbass, Mikhail Grigorievich Lupiy, was held at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. The first meeting was held at which the parties reached an agreement on joint work in the field of training highly qualified specialists for the mining industry.
As part of the agreements, it is planned to conclude an agreement providing for joint activities in the training of highly qualified junior, middle and senior specialists with the acquisition of in-depth knowledge and practical skills necessary for work in the coal industry of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as in the structural divisions of JSC SUEK Kuzbass.
Students of the Kyrgyz Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after academician U. Asanaliev, other institutes and colleges of KSTU will be able to undergo internships and industrial practices at the enterprises of JSC SUEK Kuzbass, getting acquainted with modern technologies and production processes.
Upon completion of their studies, KSTU graduates will have the opportunity to find employment at JSC SUEK Kuzbass.
In addition, joint scientific research is planned in the field of mining, geology, and enrichment of coal products aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of production.
Advisor to the Rector of KSTU A. Abdykalykov and the General Director of JSC SUEK Kuzbass emphasized the importance of cooperation and prospects for joint work.
The new partnership between KSTU and JSC SUEK Kuzbass will not only provide the coal industries of the two countries with qualified personnel, but also contribute to the further progressive development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
