On June 26, a delegation led by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov visited Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China (Xinjiang People's Republic of China) to participate in the VIII EXPO "China-Eurasia: New Opportunities on the Silk Road and the Power of a New Life of Eurasia".
The delegation included representatives of universities, including Vice-rector for Science of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU) Arzybaev Almazbek Momunovich.
Arzybayev took part in the forum of rectors within the framework of the VIII EXPO, where he made a report on the digitalization of KSTU. In his speech, he stressed the importance of integrating modern technologies into the educational process and shared successful examples of the introduction of digital innovations at the university.
After the forum, Arzybayev met with the rector of Xinjiang University, Yao Qing. During the meeting, they conducted a tour of the university, exchanged experiences and discussed prospects for further cooperation between Xinjiang University and I. Razzakov KSTU. The parties expressed confidence that joint projects and knowledge sharing will strengthen scientific and cultural ties between the two educational institutions, opening up new opportunities for students and teachers.
This meeting and participation in the rectors' forum underline KSTU's commitment to international cooperation and development, which will certainly make a significant contribution to the educational and scientific potential of Kyrgyzstan.
