In the period from April 10 to 28, 2023, the EEC of the Independent Accreditation Agency “Bilim-Standard” visited the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov to conduct program accreditation for 33 educational programs of master’s, specialist’s, bachelor’s and secondary vocational programs, which includes included domestic and foreign experts: representatives of universities, employers and students.
In the course of accreditation, members of the commission assessed the quality of the university as a whole and its individual programs, for compliance with certain criteria and standards of the Bilim-Standard agency.
During the accreditation, a team of experts conducted interviews with management, teachers, students, undergraduates, university graduates and employers.
Members of the EEC visited training sessions on educational programs, as well as a hostel, an assembly hall, a library, a Student Service Center, a Center for Advanced Studies, specialized classrooms, laboratories, and places for practical classes.
The experts assessed the conditions, organization and learning outcomes, in particular the quality of the educational process, staffing, the material and technical condition of the university, experience in applying innovations, modern technologies and teaching methods, and the competitiveness of graduates.
On April 28, the final meeting of the EEC took place with the leadership of the university and heads of educational programs, during which they got acquainted with the feedback on the results of visiting KSTU named after I. Razzakov.
In their conclusion, the experts proposed a number of recommendations aimed at improving the educational process for accredited educational programs and noted the high level of the teaching staff and corporate spirit of the university
