On February 17, 2023, G.K. Iskakova, Advisor for Strategic Development of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR), a seminar was held to clarify standards in order to prepare KSTU educational programs for international accreditation.

With the financial support of the project "Professional Education for Economic Growth Sectors in Central Asia", 5 programs were announced: - Technology and production of food products of animal origin (bachelor's degree), - Technology and production of food products from plant materials (bachelor's degree), - Technology and production of food products of animal origin origin (Master's degree), - Vocational training (Master's degree), - Technology of food products (PhD-doctorate).

At the expense of KSTU's own funds, 5 more master's programs have been announced: - Applied Mathematics and Informatics, - Economics, - Operation of transport and technological machines, - Construction, - Architecture. The participants of the seminar were able to get detailed information about the international specialized accreditation of the EP, about the general principles of assessment, about the requirements for the self-assessment report, etc.
